I know right. I think she meant LX with TX cargo room. So a sequoia based Lexus i guess?
It was interesting to chat with her about family luxury suv needs. I assume most non car enthusiasts are similar,
Showed a lady friend the TX first as she got hit in her Escalade and wants something smaller and better on gas. She liked it a lot inside, no mention of the exterior. Showed her the GX and she liked the outside but the small cargo room with the third row was no bueno.
Told my guy bring a LX...
Well said. The RX groups are filled with ex and current Porsche and BMW owners who picked up a 500h because they like the overall package and will put up with a bit less acceleration in exchange for quality and reliability. It shocked me quite a bit.
Also seen a few F owners pick one up as...

I have more and more respect for companies who produced great engines and continue to do so. Sorry but anyone can build a battery it’s all the same **** and yeah 1000hp is not even tough. Not impressive to me after the first time since it’s all the same thing basically.
But i’m all for sporty...
I’ve seen a few whatever they call them around and it looks like a luxury product. Saw one in traffic around a mdx and rx and it looked the part.
I really like it.
Any small complaints aside, Lexus has nailed the suvs and cuvs. RX is selling as good as ever. NX is as well. TX and GX will extend the sales dominance.
It’s wild to see minimal cannibalization here between products. A lot of conquest buyers.
If they hold strong and a new ES/Is comes wow…...
