Uncertain Future for the Lexus GX & LX Models

I would be upset to see the GX go. There's something quite special about a midsized, body on frame SUV. I think increased sales in the 4Runner and GX460 agree with that statement. One of my favorite cars we've ever had was a 2006 GX470... sounds like I need to jump on another GX before it fades away.

That's good to hear. I know my local dealer (low volume area) typically has one or two GX's on the lot at best. I didn't know if it was because they didn't sell here, or if they can't keep them in stock.

What kind of lease rates can one expect on the current GX? A friend of mine is looking intp possibly leasing one next month.

There is rumors about lexus and toyota creating a model below the RAV4/ the NX.

I've heard Lexus execs turn it down, as they don't want to water-down their brand going under $35k, like the Germans do.
I think Toyota will get into that market by 2017. Have seen their concepts and they're pretty good.
