Can't decide if this a good or a bad thing...

It's good for the environment and to the company, but awful for those of us who wants a BEV or at least a PHEV... (Yes, I know about the Prime but you all must agree with me, who wants something more sedan like a Corolla or a Camry, a Prime does miss out a bit styling wise...)

I don't think it's bad for PHEV, especially since the Prius Prime is selling well. If the RAV4 Prime sells too I'm sure we'll see more Primes.

The point of the Prius was its hybrid tech (HEV). Every other Toyota with hybrid makes the Prius useless, its sole use was getting the customer acquainted with the tech. The Mirai is the new Prius for HFCEV. But Toyota missed the BEV Prius.

totally agree

for my view if i am a manager at toyota production or planning stuff, i will make the next generation Prius all electric FR/AW based on the next Mirai concept design, so that Mirai penetrates the FCEV and the Prius sold head 2 head against Model-S / Taycan / EQ-S with cheaper prices
