This is a clear sign of the upcoming global recession. Sales have declined in most of the core markets due to slowing economy.

NA: slowing economy causing slight decrease. Lexus sales remained flat but annual results are on course for a fourth straight decline.
JDM: increase in consumption tax caused a sharp decline in overall automobile sales. Typhoon Hagibis caused delays to vehicle production and slow deliveries.
Asia: slowing economy causing major decrease. Only growth market is China but new TNGA products (RAV4/Wildlander/Corolla/Levin) production hasn't ramped up to full speed causing a shortage. Lexus also remains to be capacity-limited.
Oceania: slowing economy causing major decrease.
Middle East and Africa: strong demand on utility vehicles (Hilux/Land Cruiser) keeps the momentum.

Hybrid sales will keep double-digit increase and it will account for close to 20% of total sales this year.
