I had the incredible pleasure of joining a Sales Training Specialist from the Lexus Southern Area Office this past week for a ~45 minute drive in the all-new LC500.
I'll let the video do most of the talking in terms of driving experience, but there were a few points about the car in particular I wanted to mention:
I'll let the video do most of the talking in terms of driving experience, but there were a few points about the car in particular I wanted to mention:
- Some features were purposefully left out or made unavailable per the need of a future high-performance model (hint...hint... LC F)
- Since the LF-LC debut in early 2012, an incredible amount of research & development time, energy and money had to take place. Because of this, some features didn't make it in the essence of time. The radar cruise won't slow the car to a full stop like it will in the RX. Engineers finally had to say enough is enough to get the car to market in a reasonable time at a reasonable price.
- Some features are still locked in the LC that future models will get. The Enform 2.0 App Suite has 4G LTE capabilities, but all of the hardware just isn't embedded yet. It will come with due time. Don't discount the Enform 2.0... there is more to come than what is here now.
