Who's trying to drop 80-90k on a 4-cyl high-performance SUV?

The Mercedes GLC43 and 63 with the 4-cyls flopped and are being replaced by the GLC53 i6.

I had a shuttle service to and from the Lexus dealership recently in the new RX (non F-Sport). Comparing it to my 2017 RX350 F-Sport 3, while I liked the interior, I could not get over the buzzy 4 cylinder noise. Reminds me of an econo-car. It was still pretty smooth and much softer than my '17 RX F-Sport, but the economy engine sound was a complete turn-off.
