Lexus IS-F Rumor / May 24th, 2022

Japanese article says the IS-F will launch in Japan in October 2022. Please note that this is just wishful thinking by the media. I heard from a Lexus sales person that the IS 5-liter version will surely launch in Japan this fall since the reaction to the IS500 in the US was favorable.

These are not primary source sites, they gather info from other scoop sites.

The "IS-F" rumor originated from BestCar who insisted IS-F is happening since 2019. They have a habit of moving the goalposts when proven wrong. Only recently they stop reporting IS-F but use the correct name instead.

This rumor is all about JDM IS500. Since Japan enforced new noise regulations this year, they delayed JDM IS500 to be compliant.
