I do not see anything official from Lexus about this "concept"... other than the piece by Yanko Design - an online magazine. Is this really a Lexus concept at all? Or something Yanko Design imagined as a Lexus?

Hard to tell, but i found this:

Seems it could be by an exterior designer at Toyota doing this as a side project or something? That said Yanko isn't exactly always clear about whether or not a project they show is actually endorsed/linked to the corporate.


Seems this was posted about a year ago. Could just be an employee side project or something, but the physical models (unless they're just really good renders) seem like someone invested behind putting this together. Maybe a "hey, hire me over to Lexus!" project by a Toyota-side employee?


OnePen seems to be some sort of third party auto news/auto design studio. Chinese at first glance, lots of "concepts" of brands. This is probably just a private project.

I can't tell either, though if it was an official concept there would be more than just this post. Lexus isn't exactly swimming in news right now, so I don't see them keeping quiet on something like this.
