I can't believe how unexcited everyone is about this integration, though I'm admittedly bullish on this type of voice service.

I like "dumb" cars that simply serve the purpose of transportation. This is the type of feature bloat that I would ask or attempt to remove.

Heck, I recall having a couple rage fits in some newer cars when I realized I couldn't turn OFF the headlights when parked.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt Lexus/Alexa going to be subscription based after some period?

If so its why I am not excited about this.

Not that I'm aware of. You might be confusing it with BMW's CarPlay/Android Auto integration, which *is* subscription-based?

I thinks that for when using enform... so for instance using alexa from your home to start the car. As long as you have Enform, it will work. Without Enform, it can not work.

For Alexa in car, it will work always, just like CarPlay.

Alexa need internet tho right? Can it grab it off your phone or do u need to subscribe with Verizon?
