Toyota can keep it. The second wave of Lexus EV concepts were so dull and empty.Maybe Akio saw the electric IS and ordered for it to become the new Corolla….
Too much hoping, look where it's gotten us with Lexus unfortunatelyI hope the next IS don't go the EV only route and I also hope the IS we get has no relationship in any way to the design of the next corrolla.
Lol you right.Too much hoping, look where it's gotten us with Lexus unfortunately
Its the sport version. The luxury version will likely be a lot more "classy". Also this looks MILES better than the Lexus TZ. The TZ looks no fancier than a grand highlander. It's the exact same thing on the inside but with Sienna Ottomans. This is a combustion model. The LX doesn't really compete here, with it being 7 inches longer, BoF (so worse ride quality) and having a pretty much unusable 3rd row. They already do??? And that interior is dogshit for their brand’s flagship. The TZ is so much better.
I'm going to judge what I'm seeing and it looks absolutely horrible compared to the TZ which is not even Lexus' flagship. The interior is drab and the 3 screen layout is awful. The bezels are ridiculously large. It's 2026. There's no excuse for them. Not to even mention the fact you can only move the air vents through the touchscreen. Like what??The luxury version will likely be a lot more "classy".
Then we are looking at different vehicles. The interior design of the TZ and the materials are very nice. Especially the implementation of ambient light through the forged bamboo is absolutely beautiful. The design of the air vents is really cool too. The materials look great as well. The TZ looks no fancier than a grand highlander
Both are their respective brand's flagship. So it doesThe LX doesn't really compete here
We don't have details on the Q9's dimensions yet. BOF doesn't necessarily mean worse ride quality. The third row in the non hybrid model is fine in a pinch.with it being 7 inches longer, BoF (so worse ride quality) and having a pretty much unusable 3rd row
Disagree here. I think you are just defending Lexus purely out of brand Loyalty, which is fine until you realize the brand isn't loyal to you. Just reserve judgement until the wood interior comes. It will look quite stunning. The Audi has actual physical buttons for some stuff, rather than the capacitive BS on the Lexus TZ. The bamboo looks okay, but not great. I would've liked to see more wood options, and a classier lighting implementation. I can say unequivocally that the LX700h does NOT ride as well as the BoF X7 or GLS. It is not meant to compete against those. It's Lexus's answer to the defender and the G-Klasse. Even in the hypotehtical scenario that the comfort and interior on the "TZ" would be better, it literally doesn't matter as long as the range maxes out at 300 miles. On a roadtripper this is unacceptable. You will be comparing it to the TX Gas/Hybrid models, in which case the Audi (with it's 6 and 8 cylinder engines) absolutely wins. The only competitive model would be the 550h+ (winning on MPG and competing with the entry level 6cyl), but even that lacks significantly in the luxury department, and can't even seat 7 people.I'm going to judge what I'm seeing and it looks absolutely horrible compared to the TZ which is not even Lexus' flagship. The interior is drab and the 3 screen layout is awful. The bezels are ridiculously large. It's 2026. There's no excuse for them. 😂😂😂I think you are just defending Lexus purely out of brand Loyalty, which is fine until you realize the brand isn't loyal to you.
I like how you said it’ll look stunning. Did Audi pay you to say this? I’m judging based off what they decided to show for the interior reveal and it’s dogsht.Just reserve judgement until the wood interior comes. It will look quite stunning.
There are barely any buttons on the interior most everything is baked into the touchscreen including the controls for the air vents. 😂😂The Audi has actual physical buttons for some stuff
??? Where the hell is any capacitive crap on the TZ? There are literally none. The steering wheel has buttons and so does the dash. Are we just making stuff up nowadays? The Audi still has capacitive buttons on the steering wheel lol.rather than the capacitive BS on the Lexus TZ
The forged bamboo trim that’s black is much better than the normal light bamboo trim and it looks sexy with the ambient lightThe bamboo looks okay, but not great. I would've liked to see more wood options, and a classier lighting implementation
Unless you’ve sat in all of them you can’t be sure.I can say unequivocally that the LX700h does NOT ride as well as the BoF X7 or GLS.
The Defender is unibody btw. It's Lexus's answer to the defender and the G-Klasse.
For a full size 3-row luxury BEV the range isn’t bad but that will be addressed in due time.it literally doesn't matter as long as the range maxes out at 300 miles
Then get a different vehicle for such purposes? On a roadtripper this is unacceptable.
