Front bumper scuffs

Hello there!

I damaged my front bumper (please see pictures) and I want to know if this is repairable by touch-up paint? If I put it in a repair shop, how much is it gonna cost?

2019 ES 350 F-Sport.

I have been around the forum for quite some time since I made my decision on this purchase but this is my first post, so bear with me!

Thanks a lot! IMG_0480.jpg IMG_0479.jpg

Welcome @Aertai

My condolences on your mishap. Happens to the best of us. I had similar, though worse damage to just a bumper on an IS. We have an excellent local body shop. They replaced the bumper. The paint match was perfect. Total cost was $2750. Of course cost will differ depending on your location. If the shape of the bumper is compromised (hard to tell from the picture) the bumper will have to be replaced. Some professional touchup and buffing may suffice. Some professionals can work amazing results. Otherwise, I would recommend having the bumper repainted on such a new vehicle. Good luck!

Agree with RAL - if there's no damage they can probably just treat the affected areas and repaint the bumper. If anything's deformed or damaged they'll replace the bumper though.

We got a deep stone gouge on our CT front bumper at a specialist for about $200 and you can’t see where it was fixed at all. For a nice car like a Lexus, any touch up on such an extensive area is going to look sad.

We have a local guy who makes a business of fixing this kind of stuff. If its just in the bumper (hi impact plastic), its an easy fix. Painting the whole bumper is pretty inexpensive. Maybe $150.00
