It better be a different car, I certainly don't want the actual 3 series to look like a full size R/C toy car. Unfortunately, it seems like even the next gen 3 series is going to become taller and bulkier, just like the 5 series and 7 series.

I cannot imagine having to deal with Ferrari owners for a living.

One of the worst parts of my work is having to interact and deal with excessively wealthy folks.

In particular a lot of the ones that got lucky once or were born into money are absolutely damaged, degenerate and deranged people.

If you think this fucking guy actually wired anyone $40M for this thing you are smoking crack.
There is no amount of upside in the cars he buys after this that will have it "definitely paying itself back."

Even if they sold him 40 cars at $100,000 each and they appreciated 10 TIMES (a million bucks each), he wouldn't even be at break even on a present value basis, especially given nobody is buying an old Luce for anything down the road that isn't an arms-length party.

They absolutely 100% provided this dude in-kind consideration for what he did, and it's not allocations.
I wouldn't be surprised if this guy was part of some capital pool that had to put up $XXM to Ferrari for something and they structured this promo s*** to cover it in a roundabout way.
