This is probably the best possible outcome. It likely means that the IS will be coming as a hybrid and we can get an electric car that will actually sell. My expectation is a crossover more premium than RZ to rival the Macan EV.

Gecko can get the follow up story ready. It'll be the same thing but just rotate the names to whatever the next platform to be abandoned is.

Also FYI the ZC was cancelled because they basically stole it to be the new Corolla.

I never really liked the wedge/cab-forward design of the ZC anyways.

I'd much rather see CALTY's Electrified Sport Sedan design proposals make it to production but unfortunately those were just design studies.
