What if they just used the tune from the Tundra TRD performance pack?
469 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.
Knowing Lexus they'll probably do that, but then again they'll probably do something underwhelming ever since the LX600 came out. Someone needs to smack some sense into these people.
I was thinking something like that too - if LX 600 has the richer 409hp tune and the Sequoia's ICE uses the lower 389hp tune (or similar), then there is a possibility that the LX 700h will come out with a higher power rating comparatively...
The Tundra TRD Performance package already increases power to 469hp and because there is more overlap between the ICE and Motor's torque curve the peak torque will increase to 821N.m/605lb.ft
the flag bearer of this class is the g wagon with 577/627 hp/tq with 8 cylinders ice
evs are pushing 1000+ hp/tq.
Is asking for more of an aggressive tune or more battery assist too much? Quality and performance with equal attention would be something new and exciting for the brand.
