Lexus just released another mid-stage renovation for the 5th-gen LS, debuting 7th year of the current model. Interestingly, the MSRP in China is rumored at $80K as opposed to $110k for the past 6 years. Is this an implication that Lexus is considering the repositioning of LS to be a D- or C+ class sedan? Could the next generation LS be a spiritual descendant of the discontinued GS with emphasis on sport performance? After all, we get the Century sedan to compete in the ultra luxury S-class /Maybach domain. Interested to hear thoughts from friends on the forum :)

FWD-based, 4cyl 3-row LS SUV is not something I can believe right now when Lexus aims to be fully electric in a decade and the LS has historically been the brand’s forerunner. LF-ZL clearly feels like the direction they’re heading for a flagship vehicle, and it’s fully electric, and not a Century.
