Greeting LE's Friends. Let discuss a JDM minivan renew😄.
The R90 Series Toyota Voxy/Noah, This is 4th Generation product of these twins, and will discontinue "Luxury theme" Esquire production. The news is posted by Autohome.com.cn, but some "well-known reason" I can't find the original post from Internet or Japanese automedia. Enjoy it.😃

Also liked both of 'em

Now we need to see what Toyota did with the engines, and they are the first to be on TNGA apart from the NA Sienna

Some Japanese blog rumor new Noah/Voxy twins will using M20 Series, same displacement for current Gen. I guess TMC will using EU-Spec Corolla Cross's hybrid system (197ps general output).

2ZR-FXE is still the fourth most efficient gasoline ICE ever in production and is becoming quite cheap to build. All other hybrid components will be new.

Several first-time things on this van:

>> First Toyota product to have Teammate enabled (2022 LS500h is preview only and production-ready version was delayed). Ver 1.0 enables Advanced Drive and Advanced Park. Advanced Drive is only available for Traffic Jam Assist (<40 km/h). It basically uses full-speed DRCC + LTA to drive the car in traffic jams. You can already do that in any TMC product with these two features but they will beep if they detect your hands leaving the steering wheel (I use it everyday). This is now hands-off. Advanced Park is automatic parking but allows remote control with smartphone. More features will be enabled (like high-way Advanced Drive and summoning) in OTA updates.

>> 1.8L hybrid system has a new front motor (1VM, 70kW/185N.m vs. 1NM, 53kW/163N.m), new E-Four (1WM, 30kW/84N.m vs. 1MM, 5.3kW/55N.m) and the 4080mAh Li-ion battery from EU Corolla Cross. ICE is unchanged. Total system output is 103kW/140PS. Overall the new hybrid powertrain is just a mild evolution.

>> Power rear gate can partially open for access in tight parking spaces. That's so useful and should be standard on all their SUVs and vans as well!
