Yup. But I'm nit sure why to make a new 2L turbo. Maybe the 8ar isn't good enough compared to their dynamic force set up. I doubt this new turbo would come to North America anyways.Sounds a bit like a new 2.0L turbo 4.

I could see a scenario where the T24 ends up in larger SUVs and the S20 ends up in sedans and smaller SUVs. S20 might be a good fit in the Camry, ES, IS, Rav4, and UX.The Highlander D-4ST test mule have been spotted for a while, but everyone expected it to carry over the 8AR-FTS. Designing an engine specifically for ChDM is weird to me, since pure ICEVs won't have much life time left anyway. Maybe this will also appear in a hybridized form in the future (e.g. replace 2.4T in 500h with 2.0T to make 450h).
Displacement tax.
I don't quite see the point of the S20 in the US. The Camry, ES, IS, Rav4, and UX can have 240hp just by way of doing the A25 hybrid with far better gas mileage.I could see a scenario where the T24 ends up in larger SUVs and the S20 ends up in sedans and smaller SUVs.
