Exterior is super bland, interior is from the civic and the base engine is 190hp and tops is 204hp hybrid. The 2.0 turbo is gone. No AWD.Wheelbase is the same and length grew another 3 inches. Now longer than the 1992-1995 Legend sedan.

One of the lamest launches I’ve ever seen.

This new Accord launch disappointed me so much.

The 10th gen was one of the best looking "regular car" I have ever seen honestly, such a looker! Didn't photograph well online, but imo looked amazing in person.

The new one looks like a Ford Fusion, but somehow even blander. Also the 1.5T/2.0T option for the Sport and higher models is replaced by a 2.0NA hybrid??? What was wrong with the previous model having hybrid as an option on the side? Sales are gonna drop with these new cost-cut models and then they're gonna blame dying sedan sales when it comes time to kill it.

Also, same copy paste interior from Civic, HRV, and CRV. Major cost cutting happening at Honda clearly 🤔 they could've easily kept the current Accord for another year or two imo, and done a better update.

Honda is losing its quirky styling (overstyled) traits ("No more boring Toyotas Hondas"), but as it does so, it is also losing its Honda-unique cues. The new Hondas are only identifiable as Hondas because they are clearly evolutions of the last-generation models rather than completely newly-styled vehicles; otherwise, they could be mistaken for just about any other automaker's vehicles (e.g. Chevrolet Impala, Ford Fusion).

Let's hope that as Toyota tones down its own quirky styling cues (starting with the Prius), that it retains some identifiable, uniquely-Toyota cues. If the new Crown's front fascia (which looks similar to the Corolla) and the C-shaped front lights are any indication, it is looking good.

In fact, such day in Chinese network.... netizens said 11th Gen. Accord are "Honda A7L" A for Accord, 7L for 70mm longer.
And why Honda still using a same interior design in HRV/Civic/new Acura Intergra/CRV....? only new Pilot using dashboard place for placing something..
(↓The A7L look like😄↓)

^ Porsche should do the same thing for the Panamera, give it a boot lid.

I hated the 10th gen styling because the 9th gen was drop-dead gorgeous.

This 11th gen is a lot more handsome but looks really weird in some angles, and I'm 50/50 on some of the design choices that they made.

The biggest disappointment is now that not only doesn't it have a V6, but it doesn't have a powerful engine option AT ALL and it ditched the manual. Not even malaise-era (late-2000's/early-2010's) Toyota would be this bad. Jeez.

Nobody buys these sedans anymore besides Uber drivers, so does it even matter?

The new Accord looks like it's born to be fleet car lol, no wonder they are continuing with the current 10th gen Accord in the rest of the world.

It doesn't even look like a Honda at all(in a bad way), looks like something Ford or Chevy would make.

Inb4 Honda USA starts blaming consumers if the new Accord isn't selling well, instead of looking at what they did to the new Accord.

The Accord was in C&D's Top 10 list again though. But I can't help but feel like at this point they added it to this year's list because of tradition, and it's not like they're paid Hyundai/Honda/Rivian shills like MotorTrend either.

Yeah 100% for tradition because they didn't even have a press model to test. Complete bullshit.
