2nd Generation (2022+) Lexus NX Megathread (NX 200, 250, 350, 350h and 450h+)

It's built on the TNGA-K platform I believe, which for the NX is indeed a new chassis. Competitors would be the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes Benz GLC and GLB, Acura RDX, and some other models I'm probably forgetting.

Oh I could look at those rivals too. I'm a sucker for reliability which Lexus does well.

I am the opposite lol. The interior is better than the previous. I hated the old one. It looked awkward.

I'll be sipping on my cappuccinos while this car is in my home.

Can't believe Lexus pulled this off. The IS500 with that 5.0 V8 simply would sound great.

It's definitely a better interior than the previous NX, but in my opinion, the interior could still be better.

To clarify, The 2021 IS was not leaked. Myself and LE were given teasers from Lexus to post. It spread from there. It was purposely done. The only sorta leak is rati rides posted a collage of images before the 11am embargo and he was told take it down.

The Supra did leak and I believe it was Europe who did it. That wasn’t on purpose.

I'm not talking about the teaser images. I am referring to the 2 min or so video of the sliver IS350 that was posted on Youtube.

The Zupra leaked from any and everyone.

Edit: These were flowing around the web like a whole day before the unveiling.

I love the exterior except I’m not sure about that light bar at the back, but the rest is all excellent. I think that going forward with all the LED screen automakers are going to be using it is going to be harder and harder to truly differentiate dashboards now and come up with something truly original and good. I’m hopeful for this interior but will hold judgement until I can see it in person just like the rear end.

Also this isn't the 1st leak from TMC in recent history. IIRC, the 2021 IS was leaked a day or two before the unveil and the Zupra was leaked every week for a month before Detroit.

I know! I'm tired of black piano plastic trim. For me some aluminum would brighten the interior. I'm in love with the VW Id3. It has a white interior on the 1st Edition.

The NX could use white trim. Looks premium 😋

Is the car in these images not the F Sport? No tall chin and dark grey wheels, I assumed it is. Unless the non-F Sport NX got rid of the chin.

Exterior looks great, love the front and rear! Side profile is more of a evolution than revolution but it looks good. Interior looks very Toyota wish they did a little more.

One small detail I just noticed. I like that they moved the position of the seat memory position switches up to where you can actually see them.

Sort of reminds me of the Ford e handles or F 150. Maybe it's electronic this time 😏
