Good morning, new to this forum. I have a 2016 GS350. It had the cycled purple screen issue over a year ago that was presumably fixed after I downloaded/ installed/ confirmed the firmware update.
It went several months without the purple screen recurring and a few months ago it started happening again, but to a much lesser degree. It would flash purple once then self reboot to normal. It was initially recurring every few weeks, but in the last few weeks it is happening 1-2 times per week. Considering Lexus to be such a precision vehicle with such "attention to detail", I find this unacceptable and should not have to settle for this performance.
Going for a service this weekend and will escalate to my advisor, but would like to know of any others have had similar behavior from their cars. Thanks!!
