My 2017 ES uses significantly more gas than my 2013 did despite the same balance of highway and city driving by the same driver. The official figures for both years are identical. I do notice that it seems to downshift sooner when the cruise control is released. Could that be the problem? Any...
Did I miss any reference as to how trade-in values are determined? If not, then surely that has to be negotiated. As for setting different prices for different colours, and current market demand for a particular model, surely that means that the "no haggle" price is subject to increase or...
I understand what you say about memberships. However, are you really suggesting that a contact form would actually reach the Director? In my experience with Lexus, and to be fair, most other companies, all one can expect is a polite thank you for your interest.
I object to having to pay $30, in US funds ironically, to ask a question of the Director of Lexus Canada. If he and you were really interested in what his current and potential customers had to say, that wouldn't be a requirement. This Lexus owner doesn't appreciate being treated as second...
I've just read the lengthy and very detailed full Consumer Reports road test report which has just been posted on its website and is available only to subscribers. Did Mike Forsythe do that? I don't see any comment in their report that says it is one of the worst vehicles tested this year. (I'd...
TX would be an unwise choice, don't you think, considering the very similar Acura model name.
RX-L sounds good if it's based on the RL chassis. It trades on the popularity of the RX and signals that it is a similar vehicle.
A question: why does Lexus offer adaptive variable suspension on a given model for a few years, then delete it, then bring it back on a different model?
Given that the price of the vehicle is only one part of the total transaction, I doubt if this will eliminate the for customers need to compare total costs among several dealers. Many, if not most buyers have a vehicle to trade in and most dealers have various add-on charges and those will...
Finally I see that the interior photos are showing the wood on the centre console that, at least in Canada, has replaced the black on all but the base model since 2013 but has never been shown on either the US or Canada websites. I also notice the light gray lower portions of the dash and upper...
I should have made it clear that I was referring only to the ES and the very restricted availability of important features on those supplied to Canada.
I hope Lexus will stop shortchanging Canadians. Currently we get fewer individual options (only packages), fewer colours, fewer personalization choices, fewer safety features (except on fully-loaded models which few people purchase), and of course no Lexus Enform at all.
