I have a 2004 SC430 with wheel spacers. Love the look but noticed a lot more creaking and noises from the roof compared to without. Just the other day my windshield cracked coming out of a bumpy parking lot driveway. Spacers obviously change how the car sits and puts strain on different parts of...
Has anyone experienced pre-mature brake wear for their RX. We have a 2019 which went through 1 set of brakes in about 20K and now at 46K they are telling me it needs new brakes again (rotors and pads)??! This vehicle is lady driven for local commuting. Something doesn't seem right.
Not for more than 10 minutes! Of course, the initial idle is high when you first start the car and it is very cold, but once you begin to drive or even rev the engine a couple of times the idle usually begins to fall.
Now that we are in the thick of winter here in Toronto, Canada I can't stand how high my IS350 idles until the engine gets warm. (which usually takes a good 10 minutes) I've actually let go of the brake and had the car drive from 13 to 15 km/hr without touching the gas! That's ridiculous and...
Couldn't agree more! I feel like a fool for not testing the sound system thoroughly before purchasing an IS350. I could understand if it was the base model, but I have every possible option! (FSport 3). It's ridiculous..it sounds like an AM radio until you crank it up to about 25 or 30. There...
I am well passed the days of trying to turn heads while driving with the windows down and heavy bass coming from the car. This is a valid concern expressed by many people that I'm speaking to. It's a matter of good quality full sound. It's not a bass issue.
A Lexus sales rep told me that if...
I have to agree. The ML is nothing more then a name. The quality is not there. It is such a let down. Part of the excitement of buying a premium vehicle is enjoying the premium sound, but Lexus has missed it!
Very nice vehicle. Hard to beleive a 19 full size sport sedan has the same issues. My only solution is to keep it in eco mode. It seems to help. I'd be curious to know what your service department tells you. Please post it. I'm due at 1600 km so I will mention the same thing.
I've left the fade in the center because as soon as you fade to the back even a little, you end up losing the fullness of the sound. I've only adjusted the highs, mids and bass to get the sound I like, but I still find you have to turn it up to about 30 before it starts sounding good. To me...
Yes, I just read the manual on the remote starter. I guess once the door is open you need to go through the regular startup procedure...foot on the brake etc.
Hoping I can ask another question... I have the long range remote starter and have started to use it. Is it suppose to turn off when I open the door? Today I hit the unlock on the key fob and it turned it off right away. Is that right?
/a disaster, really? I've had 3 Infiniti sedans and every one of them had a better sound system than this 2018 Lexus. Matter of opinion I guess. Also, accessing the settings was at the touch of one button 'Audio' not fiddling with an over-sensitive mouse that jumps all over the place. Maybe...
I totally understand the purpose of fading, but you should not lose the ranges in the sounds (highs lows) etc. It sounds muted. It's not the same clarity to me.
Another issue...is it normal for these vehicles to idle high? Even after a 5 minute drive the idle is above 1000 rpm and if I take my foot off the brake it moves forward too quickly. Please tell me this isn't normal. It can't take that long for the engine to warm up!?
I've only had my IS350 (fully loaded) for 3 weeks and I keep saying this but I'm starting to regret coming over to Lexus from Infiniti. The Bose system with Infiniti has fantastic booming sound and has much more features and controls. As many people are saying the Lexus sound is not properly...
Sorry, I strongly disagree. This is Lexus and they should be using the best of the best. A model refresh should not mean some features get worse?! I have the ML system and I'm not impressed.
