As much as the sedan market is dead these days, and what is there is dominated by the Germans, the idea of Lexus ditching the LS entirely is pretty unthinkable. It's been a cornerstone of the Lexus brand identity since its creation. Maybe the LS could be transformed into a large electric sedan...
Base model looks really attractive, I really like the rims and I think the smaller touchscreen actually looks like it's more than enough. The level of standards equipment (in Japan at least) looks very generous.
Only watched the end because I'm lazy. He's very complementary of the S Class' handling. He compares the feel of the 4 wheel steering to Nissan's HICAS system.
He says that the LS500 has been out a few years, and that it feels a little older. He praises the aero, the suspension setup and the...

Australian media is reporting that the RC is getting some updates for 2021. It sounds like the updates largely reflect updates which have been made to the major refresh IS. The...
I've had a quick look at the Australian trademark register as well and the following Lexus-related trademarks are newly registered in the last year or so:
LX 500d (diesel LX here is currently badged as the LX 450d)
LX 600
NX 250
NX 350
NX 350h
RZ 450e
One thing which I haven't seen mentioned yet is that there appears to be a new larger digital instrument panel available (if you look through the gallery on the press release). Given that it also appears that the previous smaller instrument panel will still be available, I imagine the larger one...
Ironically, this reminds me of the Acura TLX's 2017 facelift. Exterior got a huge lift and really looked fresh but barely anything done to the interior leaving it look very dated compared to rivals when you hopped inside.

I think there was a rumour a while back that in order to cut costs following dieselgate, Audi were going to cut the MLB platform. A4 and A5 were set to move onto MQB (making them transerve FWD unlike their current longitudinal FWD format) and A6 to A8 were going to move onto MSB (currently...
What I find a bit odd is that Motoring Australia say they're not allowed to say what model car it was, but the Japanese publication that published a test of this e-axle system at the same location were quite clear that it was a Lexus ES. Did they both test the same prototype?
I love Alex on Autos but his score rating for seats mainly scores the numbers of ways of adjustment, he doesn't really look at how 'comfortable' the seat is subjectively.
Have only briefly skimmed the article but it makes some interesting claims:
Unlike the base car, the LC F will have the transmission just in front of the rear wheels in a transaxle arrangement like the LFA, Nissan GTR and AMG GT. The article claims the transmission itself will still be the 10...
I don't really think that the problem is lack of media budget or lack of money spent updating the GS and the IS. The real problem is that buyers clearly prefer the more established and prestigious nameplates of the 3/5 series and the C/E class, so in a shrinking luxury sedan market, these...
