To me this does not feel or look like a Lexus , looks like Lexus design are getting Lazy , they must have went over to Toyota HQ ask to borrow a Yaris and slapped a Lexus logo on the bonnet. Yuck
Dude 54 hours(2.25 days) to fully charge the RZo_O what is going on there? But i enjoyed this review so can we then conclude that Lexus will only be ready to make a proper EV in 2026/27?
That is the exact spec RZ i require. might swap the 20" for 19" wheels or 18inch but Lexus has make a prettier rims for 18" inch, i know they are functional.
Lexus will experience a supply issue for 2023 cause the RZ450e will be sold out within weeks. So put your deposit now or else sit in the waiting list for 2024/2025
The only models from Lexus i am interested now is the RZ450e, UX300e maybe the PHEV NX450+ and RX450+ with the RX i wonder what the EV range will be like.
It’s a good plan however there is catch 22 situation the next Gen RCF will be pure EV. The V8 will be no more. Although the new platform will build from ground up.
Lets just hope Lexus is not doing this to try and please car journalists who have always criticize Lexus products from inception.
This must be strictly a business solution for hardcore performance lexus enthusiast.
The iS500 will not compete with M3 or C63s but the M340i and C43 are it’s natural competition. Those are the reviews we are expecting. I would still get the RC F track edition or LC 500 convertible
I agree with him in my country South Africa Lexus is a niche and low volume seller. People perceive it in the supercar money category. But the opposite is true for BMW or Merc and consumers here have this belief in German engineering as superior to Japanese. That just baffles me.
