I'm sure some people like the fake sounds but for me, I'd rather the electric motor noise to sound like an electric motor. As silly as this sounds, if it makes driving fun then I'm sure it has merit. It would be even better though if apart from just fun, it also had purpose (ie efficiency and performance gains for example).

I got an ES300h as a loaner when my IS300 fsport (2L turbo) was in for a service. And boy was I pleasantly surprised. Not only is the drivetrain just brilliant, the car itself was quiet, comfortable and had the instant torque and responsiveness my IS just doesnt have. It handled like a boat...

Absolutely awesome! But I still hope that it comes with the 2.4L turbo 4 RWD with around 220kw as an option but if not then I'm still up to change to BEV so long the batteries are solid state.

I feel lexus has done a subaru and toned down the concept a bit too much for the production model RZ. It looks alright I suppose. But some elements of the car, especially the headlights already look dated. Maybe they will be spruced up for higher end models? They look very basic to me...

If the next gen IS looks even close to that I am so ready to switch over to a BEV! Especially if it is a solid state battery too!

Hard to stay loyal in Australia without an IS...for me anyway...the range is becoming woeful down under. Just SUVs, a FWD sedan, the LS and LC (which is sadly out of reach for me).
