Just do p2 hybrid and focus on performance instead of this weird multistage thing because nobody in this class is after fuel efficiency, not to mention the fact that competitors' turbo engines have gotten so good the hit on gas mileage might not be as large as you think.
0-60mph in 4.6s is false advertisement lol. I swear to god no media outlet is able to reproduce their claimed performance number. Like even if we forget about the "community beloved B58" for a sec, the fact that it still struggles to compete against Mercedes' M256 in terms of refinement or sound...
This is nice and cool but isn't it better for the F to be used on next gen BEV instead?
I just feel like it's not worth the energy investing in this first-gen product.
Also I'm noticing completely different engine sound in sport plus......still cannot decide whether I like it or not but the fake sound on the LX and the LS is abominating and I'm glad it's better.
Title ^ ^
Clearly Lexus knows how to engineer a good product but they are way too complacent thinking they can get away selling those uncompetitive cars.
I was talking mainly its overall feel to be much like the B58 + ZF8 combo, particularly the high revving turbo engine and short ratio gearing.
The LS shifted very lazy and sounded like a diesel truck.
