At least we can the GAL in action with this car. It did VERY well on the MT figure eight and nearly ties the 1 ton lighter Lexus GS 350 F sport in that measure. I'm just disappointed that they couldn't get RWD press cars.
I was kinda pissed, because they called the Lexus "a mess" design wise without putting much thought into it as their Ignition video. No attention to the quality of the cabin, nor the fact that they were hooning the car around the track with two big guys in it. It's been a total of six months...
So about that 6 second zero-to-60 time from Caranddriver, that was an AWD model, which is usually quite a bit slower than its RWD counterparts. If they had tested the RWD version, expect that they would've gotten times closer to 5.4.
Same for most of the F sport models. Who decided to put the IS on Turanzas instead of Potenzas? The IS is already struggling with weight and lack of power, might as well give it some real tires to quell that understeer.
You know the LC was a tenth of a second off of the BMW M6's time around VIR, as well as beating the M5's lap time as well. All this proves is that BMW has really lost it days, and that are cars that the LC F and GS F would've did battle with. Imagine what the TT V8 would do for both of them.
