Interesting to see the orientation of the rear wiper blade is different than the one in the leaked photos. What the official photo shows is the same as the current generation.
Looking at Lexus Canada web site, I think Lexus Canada once again looks at the market differently from some potential buyers and existing IS owners.
For the fully-loaded model which is IS350 AWD with F-Sport 3 pkg, Mark Levinson is absent. They put it in Ultra Luxury package for IS300 AWD...
This is valid for US market. For Canadian market, Lexus Canada has a different approach. F-Sport is available for IS300 AWD & RWD. But you can't get DHP that includes AVS on IS300 as they package it in F-Sport 3 pkg. F-Sport 3 is only available for IS350 AWD.
Actually for myself, the power tilt steering with memory is crucial to me because the Lexus version is auto retracting when you turn off the engine. Reason is for a tighter parking spot where there is a wall on the driver side, some extra room will be created when the steering wheel retracts.
I will be in a similar situation. Never bought anything other than Lexus/Toyota. What brands are you considering? One issue I have encountered is the way some other brand dealerships treat customers (hospitality, attitude, openness to concerns, etc). For example, in my area, Mercedes...
Thanks Krew for the new design of the web site. Time really flies. Already 12 years?
Everything looks fresher. I love the new design and it is more modern.
Yes, in my original post, I related the success to the combination of CarPlay AND it is a crosslover/small SUV. I should have said it CUV to make it clear. With just CarPlay like the one in ES, it won't sell as good because of the taste/trend in the current market. I bet NX will sell even...
The news is quite surprising to me. But it makes sense when you consider the fact that UX has Apple CarPlay AND it is a crossover/subcompact SUV where there is a good demand in Canada. On the other hand, it also reveals how the lack of Apple Car Play and/or Android Auto has affected the sale...
The showroom of Open Road Lexus is the best and most impressive one I've ever come across in Canada. It really puts the all Lexus showrooms in GTA to shame. The decorative white wall is tasteful and together with the lighting, it does remind me a bit of the the Lexus Aoyama in Tokyo.
Indeed AWD for ES is interesting.
If Lexus does ditch GS and only uses ES as the only their mid-sized sedan, the addition of AWD will become crucial to be be competitive, especially in North American market. Being AWD, Lexus can also offer more powerful engine variants.
Me, too. Really want to see the rear. Not to mention more interior shots and engine choices, etc.. Still a week to go.. This 2nd teaser from Lexus is quite effective to keep people interested in what UX offers.
To me, the UX looks great both exterior and interior. The front borrows some cues from NX, RX and the facelifted IS. In fact it looks like a raised IS or a lowered NX. Upon a closer look at the front, I like the treatment of the new headlights - they integrate the L- shaped DRL back into the...
To me, even the teaser picture looks promising. The rear looks different and yet you can see Lexus likes to see no break point between the light on the tailgate and the rear lights. Just like the NX and RX.. Haven't been excited about a new car for some time...
Indeed this rendering of a LF-1 with aftermarket mods looks great. If LF-1 does have a production car in the future, no doubts you will see some heavily modded LF-1 on the streets in Japan
Truly amazing concept vehicle from Lexus. Looks great and futuristic. Some of the elements used in the interior look promising and provide some tangible benefits.
For example, the steering wheel has auto/P/R nearby as well as indicator of the drive mode along the rim of the steering wheel...
It is disappointing. There is no close up shot for the NX Hybrid and also because of the colour, a causal look won't detect the difference. 2018 NX info is on Lexus USA web site as well. Two welcoming changes are ventilated seats and adaptive suspension are finally available in some...
Really look forward to seeing this kind of semi-autonomous features appear in more Lexus models down the road. The blue certainly has caught my attention before reading the title.
Thanks Krew for sharing the video. Lots of tech.. it makes head up display more useful than before. I like...
