I have been waiting for this for so long. Dude, this is awful. I'm talking about being built in a Toyota factory. I personally don't buy any Lexus that is not built in their Japan factories, and now they just step "above and beyond" and start building Lexus in Toyota factory. Is this a Toyota or...
Lol I don't like the boxy exterior, not very Lexusy to me, but it's gonna sell, because Americans love everything that's off-roady and boxy.
However, it looks better than TX I have to say.
Toyota is still having chip shortage while that doesn't seem to be the issue for other manufacturers. US customers are sick of the long wait and $5000 dealer package.
For me personally, I'd say negatively more or the same price. I can't really think the faster 0-60 compensate for the hassle of looking for charging station and the wait. But now BOM of EV is expensive, so realistically I can't expect it to be less.
Talking about RZ specifically, I think Toyota...
Maybe you're right. I found vanilla era Tesla more appealing and now I stay as far away as I can from Tesla after Musk purposely misled on how the FSD works and caused many deaths. And then you have that many people who believed that BS and happily drink the cool-aid and now Tesla sells millions...
It's hard for me to justify this price. Same exterior & interior as RX which starts more than 10K lower (48K), 220 miles and 313 horsepower. I think they should reduce the price to below 50 - 52K and let the top trim around 58K
I don't want something that could just potentially start burning at any time in my garage. I might want a Plug-in Hybrid, but I just think the hybrid is doing fine for the sake of conserving energy.
And just to discuss EV, Toyota/Lexus should stop bragging about their plan and at least build a...
TBH, It's pretty old since RX released in the same year has already got a new gen last year, and we still don't know when new gen Q7 will arrive. I'm in the market for a 3 row SUV and there is very limited options for now. :(
Their design language to me is more like a combination of old and new. I guess they want those who like old see old and who like new see new. The issue for me is that it easily feels outdated when closing to a refresh cycle. I was still gonna buy it until I found out pretty much every Q7 in the...
The Lexus is definitely slow in the last 10 years or so in pretty much all aspects. Flagship LS is disappointing and receiving no updates. Ancient 5.0V8 and no signs of using the 3.5T for high performance. IS and RC interior has been the same for almost 10 years. They were among the last in...
Genesis SUVs are really, really appealing, even comparing to the new NX and RX. I wouldn't be surprised that Genesis would be top 3 in luxury SUV market in the coming years. Acura and Infiniti are going downhill crazily fast. I wonder what they've been doing in all these years. It seems they...
I'm not so impressed with the interior especially the center console. The vent is vertical which doesn't fit the exterior design language (mostly horizontal lines). The upper screen is awkwardly placed like a separate piece (like every other model with touch screen), the lower screen looks like...
