Interesting that they seem to be (if true) benchmarking the AMG GT. Maybe they're trying to make a high-end sports car with more production volume rather than an exclusive track supercar this time. Not exactly fond of the idea of it being treated as an LFA successor if that's the case.

I find it interesting that it actually beat both the RC F and IS F by just under a second and is less than three behind the Track Edition despite being less track-equipped than any of the mentioned models.
Will there be two body styles—a coupe and SUV—for the RZ? The video of the prototype shows a boxier vehicle while the press photos show a much more sloped roofline.
