Lexus LC 500h "Matte Prototype" in Space Orange debuts in Barcelona

On odd-numbered years, Spain's major international auto show takes place in Barcelona (Madrid does the honors on even-numbered years). Automobile Barcelona 2019 will see the unexpected debut of the Lexus LC 500h 'Matte Prototype'. Its matte Space Orange exterior is "inspired by the shades of orange that are visible when looking at the Sun on clear sunsets" according to a Spanish-language Lexus Prensa España news release.

Other exterior touches include black semi-matte 21" wheels and carbon fiber roof and rear active spoiler. Inside, Space Orange accents are applied to the dashboard, steering wheel and door panels of the black interior.

Certain lighting looks amazing

Certain lighting looks pretty bad

I prefer the orange found on the GSF/RCF. I'd get the flare yellow LC but in the USA, doesn't come in hybrid, which I prefer.

Lexus needs to do imaginative things like this to their exterior trims and interior trims. Things like this should be an option like what Porsche, BMW and Mercedes does! Absolutely gorgeous.
