Aaaahhh man every year since Lexus started racing at the Nurburing 24h endurance race, that weekend is fully booked. I am so hyped that the LC will take over from the LFA. Wow this is even more reason to purchase this outstanding super GT coupe, I hope their have at least two LC's in the SP8 and SP Pro class. Time to get a case of beer and popcorn in preparation. Goodluck Team Gazoo.

I do love this race -- spent a lot of time in Gran Turismo driving the Nürburgring, and seeing the LFA racing always brought a lot of excitement.

Glad that the LC has replaced the RC F SPORT, last two years were a little dull in the SP3 class.

Agree
Good move replacing the RC with the LC but not perfect one
The perfect move to have LC-F with the top guys as having Supra, 86 & RC at least 2 in every category as Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Benz & BMW are doing

What's your psn id? Maybe we can race some gr.3/4 races sometime. I dominate with the RCF gr.3/4 cars

Haven't played GT since the PS3, still need to pick up the latest. I was pretty irritated when the steering wheel I had didn't work with the PS 4, took the wind out of my sails.

I've heard about this in the Tokyo Auto Salon (where they also released the GR Super Sport Concept), and I cannot be any more happier. Lexus is really opening their racing division. This will help them a lot. I know we lack F models, but this will allow Lexus to resurge again from the LFA, IS F and GS F.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see F models popping in really soon (the newest one coming in a year or so), as the last F model (GS F) was released way back in 2015. I think the F lineup would turn out like this if they choose to follow Mercedes-Benz's playbook.

- IS F/RC F/NX F (if they move it to a RWD platform)
- ES F/RX F (if they move both to a RWD platform)
- GS F/GX F
- LC F/LS F/LF-1 F??????
- LX F (fighting the Geländewagen and other higher level cars)

I don't think UX needs an F model. A turbo 4 from the IS would do it wonders. It doesn't even need the future upgrades that will come, but knowing Lexus I wouldn't be surprised if they improved it to gain a better response.

We had discussions on how the ES was going to potentially be a RWD car but instead took the Camry platform. There is always time to correct it. ;)
