The only injury is the driver's pride.

how painful! It's not too difficult to spin out a powerful RWD supercar! ughh.

A little too much gas on that corner. Good to hear he is unhurt and alive. Life is worth more than a car, even one that is now, what? close to a million?!

I feel for him! He will eventually get another (I hope)

I hate you for posting this. Literally it wasn't even a few days ago that I was thinking to myself in regards to how I haven't heard of any LFA's ever being messed up/destroyed. Now you show me this. You really ruined my mood. Thanks for that. :(

Wow that is sad, just judging by the video a lone, seems like he wasn't going that crazy but the bus was possibly changing lanes and spooked him. I wouldn't want to go up against a bus either.

Poor LFA, it did not deserve this. I hope there is an effort to bring it back to its OEM glory, if not I suppose all the rest of the LFA owners can enjoy their value going up.

Looks like there was no real mechanical damage, just a lot of busted body panels. Might be restorable.

:broken_heart::party:

I share your feelings -- really thought hard about posting it, as I don't like to publish stories about accidents.

There was another white LFA that got busted up in Florida in the first couple years of production -- it was fully restored and sold to someone in Dubai.

Unfortunately, that LFA has been totalled. The carbon fiber chassis was in all likelihood damaged since it hit the curb with a lot of force. It was in Singapore and it is too expensive to fix it. LFAs cost $1.25 million new in Singapore

Full video

We should crowdfund to fix it LOL. No LFA should be left alone. They're so damn special that not a single one in my opinion should be destroyed. Imagine in years from now that there are the same amount of LFA's alive as created. Lexus is all about perfection and I think they should try to fix that legend.

He went full power while taking a slight left turn. The car's tail started coming out considering LFA has touring non-racing slick tires unlike other supercars that have velcro-like sticky racing rubber (Cup 2, Trofeo R). He panicked and yanked the steering to countersteer and ended up overcorrecting and slammed into the curb.

I should have put a warning that the video is not for the faint of heart LOL

When I watched it the first time, it was literally painful to watch. I almost really wanted to "unwatch" it.
