Once these owners take their cars in for service and they see the new ES they will definitely trade up.

Wasn't this a hard to find option unless you special ordered?

I don't think this is a necessary option if you just pay attention when you drive, since it was $$. But given the buyer demo of the car, I see its usefulness.

Pretty rare in our market of South Florida. Only the 50k Ultra Luxury package ES's would be equipped. Less than 10% of our inventory, and even that estimate might be high.

I printed the recall notice since it involves both my 2013 ES300h UL and my 2015 ES350 UL. They are a rare breed with PCS, only approximately 6,100 sold over the 3 model years! See below from the notice.

Q5: Which and how many vehicles are covered by this campaign?
A5: There are approximately 6,100 2013 - 2015 model year ES 350 and ES 300h vehicles covered by this Safety Recall.
Model Name Model Year Production Period UIO
ES 350 Certain 2013-2015 Mid-June 2012 to Early July 2015 3,600
ES 300h Certain 2013-2015 Mid-June 2012 to Early July 2015 2,500

Q5a: Are there any other Lexus/Toyota/Scion vehicles covered by this Safety Recall in the U.S.?
A5a: Yes, approximately 24,700 2013 – 2015 model year Toyota Avalon and Avalon Hybrid vehicles are also covered by this Safety Recall.

The package with PCS includes radar cruise control. If find the radar cruise control to be a great option, it takes a lot of stress out of my commute to work and back. It is the next best thing to autopilot.

Keep in mind guys, Lexus makes luxury cars. It's not about what's necessary, but about opulence, convenience, and luxury ;).

With that said, you're all correct in that these are rare options to find on an ES.

Here it is 5 months later and no word of a fix, has anyone heard anything on this?
