2019 ES 350 F Sport - Warning Notifications

Hello Everyone hope you’re doing great.

I picked up a 2019 ES F Sport a couple of months ago. Today I got the following warning messages.

- SRS Airbag malfunctions
-Secoundary collision system malfunction (Visite your dealer)

Does anyone know why I got this messages. Thank you in advance.

Hi Kolfe,

Welcome to Lexus Enthusiast. Not 100% sure about these... Was the airbag notification for the front passenger seat? If so, did you put something there that was less than 80lbs or so? In the past, that has triggered the system - because it knows there is something in the seat but not enough to turn on the airbag.

Not sure about the other error though. Probably best to call the dealer.

Thank you for quick reply. The airbag malfunction does not show whether the problem is for the front or rear seat.

I’ll will contact the dealership and see if the can do something about it. Since the car is barley new it should be covered under the warranty I hope.

Definitely covered under warranty... hopefully a quick fix. Let us know how it goes!
