Lexus achieves a best-ever June, its strongest month of June sales in company history

Lexus just completed in its best June, ever.
Lexus’ June and second-quarter 2026 sales results, released today, show the brand moving 29,166 vehicles for the month – up 3.9% on a volume basis year over year and the strongest June in company history.
The bigger story might be underneath the headline number: electrified sales keep accelerating. Lexus sold 11,436 electrified vehicles in June alone, up 11.7% compared to a year ago, and second-quarter electrified sales reached 37,300, up 6.5%. That growth comes as Toyota and Lexus combined now offer 33 electrified vehicle options which represents the widest electrified lineup either brand has ever fielded, with electrified models accounting for more than half of TMNA’s total June volume.
“Our second-quarter results reflect continued momentum across the Toyota and Lexus lineups,” said Andrew Gilleland, senior vice president, Automotive Operations Group, Toyota Motor North America. “Strong demand and disciplined inventory management have fueled consistent gains versus a year ago, and accelerating interest in our electrified vehicles – with month-over-month growth throughout the quarter – reinforces that our multi-pathway approach is resonating.”
That month-over-month acceleration is worth sitting with: Lexus built strength as the quarter progressed, closing Q2 with its best month yet even after a slower start pulled the three-month total down 7.5% versus a strong second quarter in 2025.
With electrified demand climbing and June setting a new sales record, Lexus heads into the second half of the year with strong momentum in the race for the U.S. luxury sales crown.
