I really love this new design, but I am struggling with it possibly being way under-powered. I bought the NX200T the first year it was out, and I kept it just a year...it was slow and the driving dynamics were boring. The UX is supposed to be a 'handler', so I will reserve judgement until I can drive the 250h, and see some tests.

Honestly yeah
This is my only concern about the UX
Hope there's another 3rd powerful hybrid version

I also hope it will have more than merly adequate power. After driving the CHR to which it is related, my conclusion was: sweet handling but could use more power. As Toyota and Lexus driving dynamics continuously improve they can use more power to go along with it.

Well it is certainly faster than C-HR... 45hp more overall, and I guess also a bit heaver. Still 30% more power and stronger hybrid system too.

But it is not going to be a fast car... it might be decent enough.

By decent I mean for Europe... it is not going to be more than adequate for the US.

Fingers crossed that the trademarked UX 250 becomes a reality sooner rather than later.
