Tuned: Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept Gets Aftermarket Treatment

Frequent Lexus USA collaborator VIP Auto Salon has reimagined the new LF-1 Limitless concept for the aftermarket crowd with a TOM’S Racing-inspired body kit and Vossen Forged ML-R3 wheels — here’s the view from the back:

The LF-1 Limitless concept was introduced earlier this week at the Detroit Auto Show, forecasting a future flagship crossover from Lexus.

This is the first time I've ever seen a modified concept, and I like it!
Thats our bad :).... Concept was very nice to me but now with a lowered suspension, wheels and other bits it all fits perfectly. SIGN ME UP!
Lexus, build it and I will buy it!
I am in love. Take my money, Lexus!

Also, if they're letting third parties mod the concept, that sounds like another signal that it's already on the way to production.

What a fine sexy and sporty concept!!!

Just to clarify, this is a rendering and not the actual concept. Wow, convincing Photoshop!

Lexus needs to build this crossover! But I'm wondering where it would slot. Below or above the RX? I know it's meant to be more of a flagship, but still.
Oh count me in!!!!
It's a flagship, it'd slot in as the LX for people who don't want BOF.

Dont like it sitting so low. Otherwise take my money, where can I preorder? :)
I wonder what the name will be? Seeing as this will be a " Flagship", L...
I think it looks better than the one sitting at the Lexus stand at NAIAS right now.
Indeed this rendering of a LF-1 with aftermarket mods looks great. If LF-1 does have a production car in the future, no doubts you will see some heavily modded LF-1 on the streets in Japan
That is one amazing concept aftermarket. I mean I would definitely just BUY IT!!!

Mostly above the RX, but below the GX and LX (if the Lexus give the GX and LX new redesign).

Yeah, I agree. LX will get a redesign. GX - not sure. The update actually helped its sales, but with the RXL, could it lose sales? Probably. This concept would be a good "replacement" for the GX being larger than the RX, but I have to use "replacement" loosely since the GX is a full SUV rather than a crossover. As much as I love the GX, I don't know if I see the demand for it in today's market, but I would be very upset to see it go - I have actually considered getting one. I don't know - just my thoughts lol
Amazing
Just do it Lexus

Thanks bro. Clark Ishihara gets all credit, he put it all together. I do agree his choice of Vossen Forged Wheels was simply the perfect choice.

Thanks everyone.... this rendering has made its rounds pretty fast and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. LexusUSA posted it to their IG yesterday.

I'm getting even more questions about the LF-1 Limitless and this rendering from friends and clients who have NEVER asked me about a Lexus before. It really is amazing to see the reaction.
I did find some "Nancys" here FYI

We don't need that negativity here lol. Reading those comments shows that they're probably high schoolers who don't know much about cars (that one guy called it a nicer Venza - like what? HOW? lol). I actually have a few friends who said the concept and render look sick, and they're not big Lexus fans. Just depends on what crowd you find. Lexus is one of the better selling luxury brands, and that's not just because people are buying them for their reliability. Looks have a huge part in that (granted the reliability and fuel efficiency helps).

Amazingly, Autospies commentary is worse than Jalopnik.... I know, hard to believe lol...

More fun...

What baffles me about that site is that I've seen this line a few places:
http://autospies.com/news/DETROIT-AUTO-SHOW-HUGE-LEAK-OFFICIAL-Lexus-RC-F-V8-Photos-Sneak-Out-79641/
Lexus is the exclusive sponsor of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show Photo Galleries.

Not sure if Lexus still advertises on AS anymore...since all the commenters seem like Jalopnik rejects
