Lexus sales in Germany are surging — 1,399 units have been sold in the first half of this year, compared to 817 over the same period in 2016. This represents a 171% sales increase in the country.
This growth is significant, as Lexus has struggled to find much of a toehold in the home of Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi. Last year, Lexus ranked second last in German automotive marketshare, just above Tesla.
