2017 Lexus RC F & GS F Updated with Adaptive Variable Suspension

For the 2017 model year, Lexus will add their Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) to the RC F and GS F as a standard feature.

The AVS system has two core functions: Improving ride comfort by reducing damper force to help absorb vibrations on rough roads, and applying increased damping force while cornering to minimize body roll through the turn.

The latest AVS system now has 30 levels of damping force, compared to 9 levels previously. Lexus has also boosted the suspension control by linking it with both the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) safety technology and Drive Mode Select control.

The new suspension will roll out worldwide with the 2017 model year.
