One of the highlights of the customized Lexus LC 500 at SEMA was the engine modifications done by DSPORT — here’s a video detailing the changes needed to increase displacement and improve the power:
With the transformation from a 5.0L to a 5.6L V8, the 2UR-GSE engine will now be able to handle more than twice the power output — horsepower was increased from 467hp to 525hp and torque jump from 391 lb.-ft. to 440 lb.-ft.
The modified engine will be installed into the LC 500 once the SEMA show has concluded.
