Lexus Europe Sales Up 16% in First Quarter of 2016


Lexus Europe has reported first quarter sales of 18,058 vehicles, an increase of 16% compared to the first quarter of 2015.

The NX remains the best seller in the Lexus lineup with 6,315 sales — this is a full 35% of total sales this year. The new fourth-generation RX had a successful launch in the region with 4,024 sales, a 114% increase over last year. The updated 2016 LX is also performing well in Eastern Europe with 1,456 units sold, an impressive 165% sales growth.

Hybrid sales continue to dominated European sales, making up 67% of volume. This was led by NX 300h (4,672 units), CT 200h (2,445 units) and RX 450h (2,362 units).
