Lexus has partnered with experts in super-conductive technology to create a real life hoverboard for their new Amazing in Motion marketing campaign — it’s all very crazy, let’s start off with the teaser video:
The hoverboard uses liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets to float above the ground, with a design that features the Lexus spindle grille and design materials:
The Lexus Hoverboard will be tested this summer in Barcelona, Spain, though it’s worth pointing out that the hoverboard is only a prototype, and will not be offered for sale.
