According to Lexus USA general manager Jeff Bracken, Lexus has set a new January-April sales record, making 2015 the best sales start in the company’s history. The ES continues to be the volume sedan leader, but the IS was right behind it. The GS and CT were also up year over year.

In regards to the newest additions to the Lexus lineup, the NX continues to exceed aggressive internal targets with over 3,400 sales, and the RC/ RC F already accounts for 20% of the luxury coupe segment.

The RX continues to be the SUV volume leader with the GX also up month over month. With so much of the year left, there’s no reason to doubt Lexus will set a new yearly sales record.

At Lexus Enthusiast, we feel there are various factors for Lexus success this year. Consumers are showing confidence in the brand’s distinctive new styling direction, while the new and updated models are among the industry leaders in their segments.

As for how Lexus performed against its competitors in April:

  1. MB USA: 29,188 units
  2. BMW USA: 26,952 units
  3. Lexus USA: 25,876 units
  4. Audi USA: 16,827 units

Canada

Lexus Canada has set a new April sales record with 2,147 units sold. This marks the seventh month in a row of record sales. Much of Canada’s success is due to the impressive NX launch — in April, the NX made up 25% of total sales for the month.

I think ES and RX sales are decreased this month because they have announced the new models (2016)?

Not surprised to see the 3/4 series top the list, they have all kinds of madness going on with them. 4 series coupe, gran coupe and 3 series gt and wagon nonsense. Keep up the excellent work Lexus!

Bmw is saturating the market with so many cars buddy. They spend all this money on R &D, and their profit margin is not even that high on certain models.
