Photo Gallery: Lexus F Brand Commercial Filmed at Fuji Speedway

A new Lexus F brand commercial has been filmed at the Fuji Speedway in Japan, and Response was on hand to watch it being made — here’s small selection from their behind-the-scenes gallery:

Called The Dance of F, the video will feature an all-white group of Lexus F performance vehicles, including all versions of the RC F (but sadly no GS F). The final cut will be released this spring.

(If you don’t mind Google Japanese-to-English translation, the Response article is excellent. Also, the top photo is from driving choreographer and race car driver Takayuki Kinoshita.)

Very cool... this is going to be a great commercial! As much as I hate to say it, I think Lexus needs to think about retiring the LFA from the auto show circuit or any marketing/advertising. As magnificent as the car is, it's a few years old now and I think it looks a bit like Lexus is beating a dead horse. Truly, this is the time for the LC and especially LC F to bow, and serve as the next performance halo model.

This is what I actually expect from Lexus: building their own reputation via these videos and avoid video comparisons with other brands. You buy a Lexus for you just want to own a Lexus!

I agree that its time for the LF-LC to go into production but the LFA is timeless and still relevant to the brand. The difference between the LFA and it's "contemporaries" like the 458, 599 etc as that they will be forgotten and replaced by subsequent models but the LFA will be a benchmark in time that will still be remembered in 30 years from now just like the original Lexus LS400 that changed the luxury car world. There has never been such a bespoke supercar built to the engineering and material standard of the LFA.
