Lexus Announces Recall for Fuel Delivery Pipe Issue

Lexus has announced a recall of select Lexus models due to an issue with the fuel delivery pipe.

The models affected are the IS 250, IS 250 C, IS F, GS 300, GS 460, GS 450h, LS 600h, LS 600hL and LS 460 manufactured between January 2005 and September 2010.

Lexus has found that some pipes contain particles on the surface of the gasket seating of the fuel delivery pipe, which could cause the gasket to degrade and create the risk of a fuel leak.

This recall affects approximately 759,000 vehicles worldwide. Owners will be contacted in the coming weeks to schedule the repair.

What year is your ISF? How good is the car? I know this has nothing to do with the post but I think the ISF is an awesome car and it's hard to find great reviews everyone always says it's not German blah blah. Thanks!

Buddy, I have no problem telling you. The car is 2011(USB), and I absolutely love it! It's not too harsh, handling is great and fuel economy is not bad. merc and bmw make great cars, but the IS F is just as good, maybe even better! You are welcome also.

Lol. I asked for a GS and they didn't have any. I got the new IS which was really nice to drive, but it was a 250.

I understand 2015 GS 350 will be offered in 'atomic silver' . . . my favorite color. Anxious to see it. Any changes in the 2015 from the 2014 that you know of? I thought they would do the refresh for 2015, but guess not until 2016.

It looks great in atomic silver. Should sell well. The car looks the same as the 14. So far, the biggest change I see is price and features. Lexus has made navigation free in all GS models. The base car now has nav. The premium package car is now cheaper because the Nav is free. I'm going to assume the f-sport model will be cheaper since nav is now free. Amazing stuff.
