Imagining a Lexus RC Convertible, Part Two

We’ve already seen one attempt at rendering the possible Lexus RC convertible, and now photochopper X-Tomi has given it a shot with the above image.

(Will the next Lexus convertible be a hard or soft top? Have to think it would be a hard top — the IS-C roof was expertly done, and I believe that technology should be carried over.)

Beautiful rendering. I'm thinking soft top though; weight, cost, complexity, packaging, cargo space, rattles and creaks they had with the IS-C, etc.

It would be a very excellent replacement for the IS C. I showed this to my sister and she that it was real, as she wants to replace her '11 IS350C with one when Lexus is ready. I figure that won't be for another 15-18 months though.

I spy a Hoffmeister Kink in that c-pillar - I think that convertible top was photoshopped from a BMW image... :D
