Lexus USA Announces 2014 IS F Pricing

Pricing for the 2014 Lexus IS F has been announced, and despite contrary reports from Motor Trend, it will not be a new model, but a carryover of the current design.

When it goes on sale in October, the 2014 IS F will retail for $63,350 (plus $910 for destination) in the USA, $1,600 more than the 2013 model — Autoblog has details on new upgrades to the high-performance sedan:

For that extra money, buyers will get a couple styling changes like the new carbon fiber decklid spoiler and LED fog lights, as well as some minor interior updates like headrests embossed with the “F” logo, Alcantara trim added to the door panels and center console cover, semi-aniline leather replacing the black leather and black Alcantara seat-inserts added to cars equipped with the red leather seats.

It’s expected the 2014 IS F will be the last year of sales for the current model, with rumors that it will be discontinued altogether — at this time, Lexus has been silent on what the future holds for the high performance sedan.

As I said on Motor Trend, they're jumping the gun in thinking a price increase equals a new model. They shouldn't put that out there without confirmation. BD

The IS even with all the press has no traffic, the ISF will just sit on lots until they are given away. The IS and GS needed new names to seperate them from the current troubled models or 06 to 09.

Just curious where you are located? We are having great success with both the IS and GS redesigns.

Who's going to buy an IS-F when not even Lexus knows what the future holds for it?
