They actually do it in slow speeds "in real life" with different shots and chroma backgrounds then do the trick digitally.

several months ago, got approached by Toyota/Lexus China for making it guinness world record of the fastest game of chicken (do the move out at the closest distance at high speed), but apparently Toyota headquarters in Japan chickened out by inviting the 3rd party - imagine the GS didn't make it on the spot.

The only thing missing in the video is when they showed the GS 350 shot, they should reflect the 0 to 100 in 5.7 sec.  (it was stated for the LFA)....... other than that, nice !

The IS350 is 5.4 sec according to Lexus, but you can easily do it in 4.7 sec.. So I'm guessing the GS350 can easily do 0-60mph in 5 - 5.2 sec

I absolutely love the macro shot of debris levitating from the asphault under the intensity of these two machines.

I was hoping they collide and fuse into a production type LF-LC or a GS-F or something....

Terribly made commercial. Simply does not use the strengths of the car to the advantage of the commercial. LFA's spoiler was not deployed so LFA could not have been going over 50 km/h Also, the stupid music in the back was lost opportunity to build the drama in the commercial through using LFA's beautiful V10 sound blaring through the commercial. LFA should have been hard launched off the line to build the adrenaline rush of the viewer.

You can turn the spoiler off.  But yes.
