Lexus CX 200h Rendering by Theophilus Chin

Photochopper Theophilus Chin has taken the rumor of the Lexus CX mini-SUV and given it life with his latest rendering:

Lexus CX 200h Rear

Where The Telegraaf’s mockup of the CX borrowed heavily from the CT, Mr. Chin’s rendering has a more balanced approach, blending elements of the CT & RX to form a front-end that really works. In the first shot, the side looks bulky — the profile looks a lot better in the second shot. The rear is far more CT-influenced than the front, and I like the results.

Another excellent photochop from the super-talented T.C.

I highly doubt that it would be based on the CT200 design..

may be they will try to make a models family as the CT will get CT=hatch 5 and may be sooner 3 CC= coupe & cabriolet CS=sedan CX=crossover or super mini SUV

and that means a lot to me which simply means we can see a lot of variants for the next generations (LS/GS/IS/ES/SC) as follow ES=sedan EX=small to mid FWD SUV EC=coupe (remember the CAMRY one day had a coupe why not the ES) for IS as follow IS=Sedan IS-sc=Sport Cross (can be Estate as the first generation or can be as 5-GT from BMW) IS-C=coupe IS-C=cabriolet IS-X=RX=RWD based CUV for GS as follow GS=SedanGS-sc=Sport Cross (can be Estate as the first generation or can be as 5-GT from BMW)GS-C=coupeGS-C=cabrioletGS-X=VX=RWD based CUV for LS as follow LS=Sedan & Sedan soft top  LS-C=coupeLS-C=cabrioletfor SC as followSC-S=Sedan (remember the CLS / 6 series / Audi A7 LEXUS , we want a competitor) SC-C=coupeSC-C=cabrioletSC-X=BMW X6 , Acura MDX competitor

Sorry but Lexus will never get big in Europe, simply because Lexus is tje essence of true luxury cars.. In Europe Mecedes, Audi, BMW the majority of the cars they sell are small 1.4-1.6l diesel engines, no a/c, no leather, no amenity that would classify a car as 'luxury'
    М
i was just hopping above Toyota have the money , R&D to make that plan above simply for-example Lexus is in no need to have a body on frame SUV that's why i deleted both GX & LX from above even Toyota is in no need to have a 3 cars in the same category (LX/LC200/SEQUOIA) the same error can be justify in (GX/PRADO/4-RUNNER) simply badge the next generation (LX&GX) as Toyota and delete both from Lexus that will make Toyota have some space to go up in Luxurious & same time Practical SUV so that the new SUV in Lexus line up will be as Audi all have more Luxurious Sporty sign and new Toyota body on frame offer will be as LandRover Luxurious but practical

This looks like standard SUV. I hope it's not as fuel-consuming as most of the SUV cars today. –Ri of http://www.changerules.net
